🏗️ Professional Practice & Integrity

I will champion a unified NIA–ARCON enforcement framework that strengthens compliance, reporting, and coordinated sanctions. I will promote public awareness campaigns that clearly differentiate registered architects from unlicensed operators. Through digital verification tools, standardized project documentation, and collaboration with states and MDAs, we will close entry gaps. I will also invest in member capacity-building and mentorship, ensuring architects remain competitive, visible, and capable—making quackery harder to thrive and easier to eliminate.

I will pursue a national fee-harmonization and enforcement drive in collaboration with ARCON and key MDAs to ensure compliance with the Architect’s Scale of Fees. I will champion stronger contract administration standards, promote value-based engagement models, and support Chapters with tools for fee negotiation and advisory. By improving industry data, strengthening advocacy with government and private clients, and spotlighting architects’ economic value, we will elevate earnings and protect professional remuneration nationwide

I will champion a stronger bridge between academia and practice by introducing structured internship pipelines, mentorship exchanges, and Chapter-led professional clinics for students and young graduates. I will encourage curriculum input from practitioners, promote digital and emerging-technology skills, and expand industry–school partnerships. Through data-driven tracking of graduate outcomes and strengthened collaboration with ARCON and universities, we will ensure training aligns with real-world practice expectations and future industry demands.

🤝 Member Welfare & Future

Young architects will receive deliberate, structured support through mentorship networks, career-readiness programs, and access to continuous professional development tailored to emerging practice needs. I will champion fair internship standards, clearer pathways to licensure, and greater involvement of young professionals in committees and national initiatives. We will expand training in digital tools, entrepreneurship, and new practice models to improve competitiveness. Through partnerships, grants, and innovation challenges, young architects will have a stronger platform to thrive and lead the Institute’s future.

I will prioritize a comprehensive review and reform of the PPE to ensure it is fair, transparent, and aligned with contemporary practice realities. This includes clearer study guidance, standardized marking procedures, improved communication on expectations, and periodic curriculum updates in collaboration with ARCON. I will advocate preparatory workshops, mock examinations, and mentorship schemes to support candidates. By strengthening stakeholder engagement—schools, chapters, examiners, and candidates—we will build a more coherent and supportive pathway to licensure while upholding the profession’s standards.

I will promote an NIA where every member—students, young architects, mid-career practitioners, seniors, women, and colleagues across all regions—feels seen, valued, and empowered. This includes strengthening Chapter support, improving communication channels, creating equitable opportunities for participation, and broadening representation in committees and national programs. I will champion mentorship bridges, accessible knowledge platforms, and targeted engagement for underrepresented groups. By fostering openness, fairness, and respect, we will build an Institute that truly reflects all its members.
